1.02.2 Samples: Submit minimum 12” x 12” sample of AMIRAN® glass specified
1.03 Delivery, storage and handling
1.03.1 Deliver materials in manufacturer’s original containers
1.03.2 Handle and store glass in accordance with SCHOTT’s instructions.

2.02 Materials
2.02.1 Maximum annealed, tempered or laminated dimensions: 70” x 147”
2.02.2 Thickness
2.02.3 Product:
Single pane, insulated glass unit, laminated, tempered, or other as required by project.
2.02.4 Residual reflection
At 90° angle, as little as 1% with single glazing and laminated safety glass; as little as 2% with double glazing when both panes are AMIRAN® anti-reflective glass
Part 3 -- Execution
3.01 Examination
3.01.1 The General Contractor shall examine the framing and glazing channel surfaces, backing the condition under which the glazing is to be performed. The General Contractor also shall inspect each piece of glass prior to installation.
3.02 Preparation
3.02.1 Clean glazing channel or other framing members immediately before glazing
3.03 Glazing
3.03.1 Provide spacers inside and outside of proper size and spacing for all glass sizes larger than 50 united inches.
3.03.2 When using silicone sealants, the excess sealant should be removed immediately.
3.04 Cleaning
Clean with water, sponges, or cloths. A non-abrasive wetting agent should be used to avoid damaging the sealant materials. Scrapers and other sharp instruments should not be used.
