Warranty Information
SCHOTT guarantees that the transparency and reflection reducing properties of the coating on AMIRAN anti-reflective glass will not change under normal conditions. SCHOTT will replace any defective AMIRAN glass as stated in brochure no. 200252, as long as care and handling are in compliance with Technical Information sheet #7232.

Installation
AMIRAN anti-reflective glass can be installed into any frame suitable for ordinary float glass. However, care must be taken to protect it from rainwater runoff. Glazing should be positioned at least 12" from the ground to guard against splashing from pavement. Like regular window glass, while under construction, AMIRAN anti-refelctive glass should be protected against splashing by lime, concrete, cement, drywall plaster, and paint. These materials can etch the surface of the glass causing marks that cannot be removed.

Cleaning and maintenance
Glass should be cleaned regularly to preserve its appearance. Routine cleaning can be done with water, sponges, cloths, squeegees, and chamois. A neutral, non-abrasive wetting agent (e.g. dishwashing liquid or similar) should be used carefully to avoid damaging the sealant materials. Applying stickers or other decorative material is not recommended. Also avoid strong alkaline cleaners and acids, such as hydrofluroic acid and cleaners containing flourides, which will attack the anti-reflective surface and cause irreparable damage. Scrapers and other sharp instruments should not be used. Like regular window glass, harsh cleaning materials such as scouring powder, steel wool and other such abrasives should be avoided.
