SCHOTT MIROGARD^®

In its standard version, MIROGARD^® is recommended for use in picture framing in cases where the main emphasis is on excellent anti-reflective properties in combination with unaltered color rendering and where only standard UV protection is needed. The color of its residual reflection is slightly greenish.

SCHOTT MIROGARD^® plus

If there is no need for splinter protection, but increased UV protection is still important, then MIROGARD^® plus is recommended. While it is only 2 mm or 3 mm thick, it uniquely combines protection against UV radiation and outstanding anti-reflective properties with unaltered color rendering. The residual reflection of MIROGARD^® plus is bluish in color.

SCHOTT MIROGARD Protect^®

MIROGARD Protect^® is a laminated safety glass that absorbs 99 percent of harmful UV radiation. In addition, MIROGARD Protect® shields works of art from vandalism and damage caused by splintering in the event of glass breakage. As with the standard version, the Protect version also produces slightly green residual reflection.
