MIRONA from SCHOTT is a mineral glass that has been coated on both sides with an optical interference layer to enable a defined degree of reflection and transparency. This glass fulfills two different functions and delivers effects that are absolutely unbelievable. In front of a lit background, MIRONA looks like a transparent pane of glass. In front of a dark surface, it acts as a mirror, providing a homogeneous, silvery brilliance. As a result, MIRONA opens up unlimited fantastic design options.

Numerous processing capabilities
MIRONA can be processed and worked just like any conventional glass to form tempered safety glass, laminated safety glass or curved glass.
Easy to clean
If treated properly, MIRONA can be cleaned just like normal float glass. Even stubborn stains can be removed using normal cleaning agents.
Outdoor applications
Due to its excellent weather resistance, MIRONA can be used in point-mounted facades, structural glazing or post and bar constructions.
