Housings for Voltage Regulation

Housings for Voltage Regulation

The alternator is responsible for supplying power to all electrical components within a vehicle and for recharging the battery. An integrated charge controller ensures that the output voltage is even and protects the individual components from overloading due to excessively high output currents.

Product Description

The glass-to-metal sealed housing components ensure that the controller reliably transmits its data to the environment. Its primary function is to conduct the current while simultaneously protecting the components.

Product Advantages

The alternator is located in the engine compartment and is therefore exposed to a range of adverse environmental influences. Our feedthroughs reliably protect controllers from the effects of great temperature fluctuations, vibrations and other physical and chemical influences.

Applications

Voltage regulation is a common standard in all vehicles.

Technology

The feedthroughs, which are manufactured in pressure glazing technology, generally include steel as a component. The types of glass used for the feedthroughs are extremely robust and corrosion resistant.

To ensure the reliable hermeticity of these housing components, glass-to-metal sealing technology is used. Please click on this page for more information.
