Housings for ESP Gyro Sensors and Crash Sensors

A yaw rate sensor detects how fast a vehicle is turning on its own axes and whether, for example, it has started skidding or overturning. Crash sensors pick up on the kind of changes typical of accidents, such as vibration and sudden braking. The components of these sensors are extremely sensitive and require effective protection.

These sensors, which are generally installed in a vehicle’s interior in either the B-pillar or headliner, are extremely sensitive and must be effectively protected to ensure continuous operation. Glass-to-metal sealed feedthroughs ensure that the sensors are provided with power while simultaneously sealing them hermetically.
