SCHOTT® Energy for Oven Doors
SCHOTT offers various glasses for middle and inner oven doors such as Low-E glasses which help to save energy and reduce the front temperature of baking oven doors.
Low emissivity (low-E) glasses are used for inner oven doors. They reflect the heat back into the oven cavity to save energy and to significantly reduce the front temperature of outer oven doors, at the same time it allows a clear view into the oven cavity.

Food Display Applications for Commercial Refrigeration
SCHOTT Termofrost® ECO-Clear®
SCHOTT Termofrost® ECO-Clear® doors are designed for energy efficient use in deep-freeze applications. This allows for a fully passive door, which means it consumes no energy. The door is equipped with triple glazing that offers high thermal insulation. The door is equipped with a laminated transparent anti-fog film on the rear pane that prevents visible condensation if the door is left open.
SCHOTT Termofrost® ECO-S
SCHOTT ECO-S is a patented system designed to minimize the power consumption and energy cost of our heated low temperature frame and door systems. It constantly measures the humidity and temperature of the surrounding area, as well as the temperature inside the cooling chamber. On the basis of this data, the system supplies the exact amount of power that is needed in order to ensure that the frame and doors remain free from condensation.
SCHOTT Retrofit
The frame-door system helps ensure the right food temperatures and thus quality. At the same time it reduces the energy consumption of the cooler cabinet by at least 30% compared to open cabinet solutions. Furthermore, the doors with a slim frame ensure maximum visibility of the food products on display.

SCHOTT meets EU directive 2002/95/EC “RoHS” on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Within Europe, SCHOTT fulfil these requirements 100% and only works with RoHS certified suppliers. SCHOTT participates in and exceeds International environmental standards.

Processing
Components manufactured by SCHOTT meet relevant international standards including EN 60335 and EN 30. Details about glasses, the production process or about the quality of our products.
Raw Glass
Raw glass is mainly supplied by AGC flat glass.
All AGC plants are certified acc. to ISO 14001, for the melting aggregates AGC uses de-NOx devices to reduce NOx emissions. Coating machines are run with "green power". for more information on AGC environmental policies please click AGC Flatglass
