The advantages of glass-ceramic cooktop panels are now available in a new appliance. The CERAN®
contact grill panel offers a practical and healthy alternative to conventional outdoor barbecues. If you are particularly fond of barbecues, you no longer need to wait for your favorite dish until the charcoal is glowing. Barbecuing on the CERAN®
contact grill panel complies with your appetite. Handling is quite simple. To turn on this new grill, you only need a domestic power source. Without much preheating, the CERAN®
grill panel reaches the necessary temperature within two minutes. And cleaning is child's play. Anything burnt on can be scraped off easily with a cleaning scraper without switching off the grill. (For your safety please wear a pot mitten.) This is particularly handy when you cook fish first and follow it with meat or vegetables.
The German Nutrition Association considers food preparation on electric grills particularly beneficial due to health and safety reasons. When grilling with CERAN®, there are no hot embers for the fat to drop onto – with all of the associated undesirable consequences. Food can be gently browned at a controllable temperature, and surplus fat is simply scraped into the channel provided for that purpose.
Many accidents can be avoided by using the CERAN®
contact grill panel, because, unlike charcoal-fired barbecues, with the CERAN® contact grill there is no danger of fire by flying embers. There are no ashes either which take a long time to cool down, and this makes the new grill equipped with CERAN®
particularly attractive for use in the garden or on the balcony.
Campers and boat owners only need a 200-volt power supply to be able to enjoy the new grill's advantages. The contact grill operates at 2500 watts and has plenty of spare capacity to cook even large quantities of food from cold. The temperature can be controlled just as easily to suit either a delicate fish fillet or a huge steak. The edge area is not heated and can be used to store cooked food, ready for serving.
