This exceptional attribute arises from the bonding of crystalline constituents (characterized by negative coefficients of thermal expansion) and a residual glass phase (positive coefficients of thermal expansion). Unlike conventional ceramics, RESISTAN^® features an absolutely dense and pore-free surface, which is also dirt-repellent and well-suited for clean room conditions.
