Boreholes
Upon request, RESISTAN® can be supplied with boreholes.

Diameter of boreholes
Panels with boreholes of Ø 5 mm - Ø 200 mm are available (there are restrictions depending on the panel thickness). For a diameter of less than 5 mm please contact our customer service.

Position of Boreholes
Limitations regarding the position of the boreholes in relation to the edges and corners of the panel as well as to the position of the boreholes to each other have to be taken into consideration.

These limitations refer to:
  • the nominal thickness of the ceramic
  • the sheet dimensions
  • the diameter of the borehole
  • the shape of the panel
  • the thermal environment.

    The limitations indicated above refer to RESISTAN® panels with a maximum of four boreholes. If the ceramic panel has a different hole configuration, other limitations may apply. Details on request.
