Due to their thermal, physical, and chemical material properties, ROBAX® Ambience glass ceramic panels are intended for use as a resistant and attractive exterior cover for stoves and fireplaces. ROBAX® Ambience can be decorated with a large choice of colors.

Temperature/time resistance
Up to temperatures of 500 °C, ROBAX® Ambience ensures that no temperature induced cracking due to thermal stress occurs.

Resistance to temperature gradients (RTG)
Resistance of the panel against internal temperature differences. No cracking due to thermal stress at T ≤ 500 °C

Resistance to thermal shock (TSR)
Resistance of the panel against thermal shocks, if for example the hot panel is quenched with scavenging air or by mechanical contact. No cracking due to thermal stress at T ≤ 500 °C
