The redesigned “High Brightness LED Light Line” (HBLL) from Moritex and SCHOTT leverages the potential of machine vision system more effectively. It offers two mega lux of light intensity, high light homogeneity and flash capability, in addition to a slim design for more flexible system integration.
The line light is available in three different versions that feature passive air cooling, active air cooling or are water-cooled. The latter version achieves the peak value of more than two million lux of lighting intensity.
Features: - the process speed in line scanning can be increased significantly
- the performance potential of the line cameras that are capable of operating at ever faster speeds can be leveraged more effectively
- the precise adjustment of the lenses and the light generator make it possible for light to be focused easily in an exceptionally uniform manner
- the illumination width can range from 300 to 3,000 mm in 150 mm increments
The HBLL offers high flash capabilities at frequencies of up to 100 kilohertz. It can also be used in machine vision processes that require integration of various types of alternative illumination during a single inspection phase. Product versions that accommodate diffuse, non-reflective (the standard type) as well as reflective surfaces, (the reflective surface type) are available. This means a broad field of applications can be covered with respect to objects for inspection.

The HBLL can be operated in a water-cooled manner or with air cooling. It offers peak lighting intensity in excess of two mega lux.
