Diffuse Front Illumination

Non-directional diffused light. Reduces contrasts in comparison to Ringlight.

Advantages:

  • Uniform illumination
  • Eliminates shadows
  • Reduction of specular reflection

Disadvantages:

  • Reduced light output
  • Not enough contrast for good edge detection
