Anti-reflective glass: an unclouded view
The coated flat glass Amiran® reduces annoying reflections to less than one percent. It offers a clear view inside and out. Items on display retain their true colors. For this reason, this glass is perfect for use in showrooms or seating areas.
Decorative glasses: creative play with light
The dichroic color effect glass Narima® permits certain portions of the light spectrum to pass through, yet reflects others. It plays with colors on facades, depending on where the viewer is standing, the incidence of light and the background. The white flashed opal glass Opalika® distributes light in a pleasant manner and is designed for use in large illuminated ceilings. Body-tinted or coated glasses offer a variety of design solutions.
Fire resistant glazing: safety with style
Fire resistant glass products from SCHOTT meet even the highest demands for safety and their design can be refined in many different ways. »LightPoints« and fiber optics: innovative light effects
With the LED technology used in »LightPoints«, glass is coated with a transparent metallic oxide layer that turns it into an electrical conductor. The light diodes look as if they float inside a flat glass laminate and allow for computer-controlled light design for company logos or facades. Fiber optic lighting magically creates a starry sky or elegant effects in hotels or living rooms. The light source is removed from where the light is emitted. Therefore, outdoor applications are also possible.
Solar architecture: building with the sun
With thin-film solar modules, amorphous silicon is released onto glass when it reacts to the sun. These photovoltaic modules can be easily integrated into buildings as an environment-friendly source of electricity or offer attractive protection from noise, rain, the sun and viewing.
