Workshop "Microarrays: Basics, Production and Processing"

Your Way to a perfect microarray experiment

Our previous workshops about production and processing of microarrays were very successful. That is why we are offering our fourth “Microarrays: Basics, Production and Processing” workshop organized by Functional Genomics Center in Zurich. It gives you the possibility to ask all your questions when working with microarrays. Find out the reasons for donuts, comet tails and other abnormalities on your microarray.

The workshop will be held at the Functional Genomics Center Zurich (ETH/University Zurich). It is designed for microarray beginners but also for those who want to find the root cause for difficulties when processing a microarray experiment. A theoretical part combined with a detailed demonstration of practical work in the lab should clearly impart which factors have the most influence on the experiment and how to optimally use these factors efficiently.
Campus University Zurich
Dr. Jens Sobek who is conducting this course at the Functional Genomics Center Zurich has profound expertise on this special field of research with more than 10 years of experience in producing microarrays for DNA- as well as for protein applications on a wide range of functional coatings.
