Commercial Flat Roof Systems
The revolutionary SunRoof™ FS Flat Roof System — put solar power in place without putting holes in the roof.
The innovative SunRoof™ FS freestanding rooftop solar electric system is specially designed for flat-roof commercial and public buildings. It includes a simple, effective mounting system that requires no roof penetrations, and can be installed up to 80% faster than other types of PV systems. It also allows the solar array to be tilted for increased power generation.
Solidly built to stand the test of time. Made with rugged, yet lightweight materials—high-grade aluminum with a stainless steel base and a weight of less than four pounds per square foot—the SunRoof™ FS system stands up to the most intense UV radiation and temperatures.
The 25-year design life of the SunRoof™ FS system meets or exceeds all industry standards, and it easily accommodates minor roof obstructions, including vents and drains. The system’s overall superior design has a positive impact on the entire building, and not just on its energy costs — SunRoof™ FS allows for generous air circulation and cooling during summer months, and provides clear and easy roof access, lowering building maintenance costs.
High winds? No problem.
All SunRoof™ FS photovoltaic modules are securely linked in a fixed position for maximum strength and stability, resistant to high winds or the occurrence of earthquakes. The SunRoof™ FS system has been wind tunnel tested to withstand high wind speeds by a nationally recognized laboratory. The modular construction concept makes installation, inspection and maintenance both simple and fast.
Designed for flat roofs of up to 4-degrees, the unique SunRoof™ FS flat roof system combines a lightweight structure with heavy-duty performance. And its clean, simple, uncluttered appearance blends well with all types of flat-roofed buildings.
