Because it is produced by an innovative patented process, PYRAN® Platinum fire-rated glass-ceramic offers stunning optical quality with superior clarity and virtually no distortion. It was designed especially for the North American market for use in fire-rated doors and windows.
The new PYRAN® Platinum line is UL classified and passes the hose stream test. It is readily available through our distributors.
SCHOTT's dedicated development team has made sure that PYRAN® Platinum is environmentally friendly. It is the only fire-rated glass-ceramic that is made without the use of hazardous heavy metals antimony, arsenic or barium.
