“SCHOTT is dedicated to education,” said Greg Wolters, President of SCHOTT North America, Inc. “In the three years we have granted these awards, nine young scholars have been helped in their pursuit of higher learning. I wish them all the best in their academic careers, and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come”
In order to apply for these scholarships, candidates must carry a minimum 2.5 GPA throughout high school, which they are then expected to maintain in college in order to continue to receive the award. Open to children of SCHOTT employees who have been employed for six months or more, eligible high school seniors must have applied as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college in the United States.
This is the third year SCHOTT Scholarships have been awarded.
