Flow rate sensors are components used in process measurement and control technology to measure the flow rate of liquid and gaseous substances. In automotive and other industrial applicaitons, the sensors are located close to an engine, which exposes them to extreme environmental conditions. Such measurement information is often required for automotive applications, as well as for uses in the industrial sector.

Flow rate sensor feedthroughs, made using glass-to-metal sealing technology, are used to package the sensors safely and help supply them with power. The platform headers can also be manufactured to larger scales for the industrial sector.

Applications
