Biography Roni Horn

Roni Horn was born in New York in 1955. She studied sculpture in the 1970’s at the Rhode Island School of Design. Following her bachelor's degree, she gained her Master of Arts at Yale University. She now lives and works in New York.

Solo exhibitions
among others in the Basel Kunsthalle in 1995, the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2003, the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004, the Folkwang Museum in Essen in 2004, as well as at the Dia Center for the Arts, New York, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Furthermore, she was represented at the Whitney Biennale in 1991 and 2004, as well as at the Biennale in Venice in 1997, and at the documenta IX in Kassel in 1992.
