Maintenance Technician

Our Business Unit Home Tech with its unique and innovative solutions made of glass ceramic and borosilicate glass, is a leading global supplier in the home appliance industry and many others. Numerous processing technologies, materials, components and modules allow individual solutions with applications in the areas of cooking, baking and safety, which includes fire protection.

Your tasks

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance to repair and maintain equipment. The chosen candidate will be responsible for keeping the equipment in the factory in good working order to ensure production schedules are met. Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Assembles, sets up, installs, relocates, rebuilds, adjusts and optimizes facility machinery and equipment
  • Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs machinery and equipment
  • Uses prints and specifications to perform preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Interacts effectively with production and maintenance personnel. Confers with Shift Supervisor on duty
  • Troubleshoots basic electrical issues uses Digital Multi-Meter
  • Covering shifts or absences, voluntarily or as mandated
  • Plans and performs work on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Starts machines and tests equipment including use of teaching pendants
  • Completes necessary documentation for planned maintenance and safety programs
  • Maintains a working environment that is compliant with the respective standards (regarding code of conduct, health, safety, and environmental processes)

Your profile

  • Degree, Certificate, or Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent experience
  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Experience in industrial electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • MS Office computer software proficiency
  • Troubleshooting skills
