Quality Engineer - Technical Customer Support

Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services.. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.

Your tasks

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for customer facing quality projects, specification management and product introduction. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for process analysis, data analysis, process improvement, and process development. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Negotiate and manage specifications with customers.
  • Perform site-based risk assessments.
  • Monitor change controls.
  • Analyze and improve quality control plans.
  • Coordinate, collect and analyze quality data for customers.
  • Act as liaison between customers and sales team and manufacturing site for product requirements.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering.
  • Six Sigma green belt certification desired.
  • Proficient with CAD and statistical software (Minitab).
  • Knowledge of MES, SAP, Microsoft office and databases preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Quality, Mechanical or Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • ISO and validation familiarity preferred.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Timely delivery of results in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Able to translate theoretical knowledge to practical applications.
  • Hands-on.
