SCHOTT engineers revolutionized cooking in 1971 with a black glass-ceramic: CERAN®. Today, the rock star sets new standards for cooking in the future.
Good news for SCHOTT customer MHS Munich Home Systems GmbH: The German producer of the HEATSCOPE® PURE radiant heater has been awarded the RedDot Design Award 2018.
The especially slim outdoor radiant heater stands out with a rounded core design element made of NEXTREMA® glass-ceramic from SCHOTT. HEATSCOPE® PURE is planned to hit the market in the fall of 2018.
MHS and SCHOTT have a long-standing partnership. The Munich-based company used flat NEXTREMA® glass-ceramic, for instance, in an earlier model. The convex geometry of the award-winning HEATSCOPE® PURE now leaves a special aesthetic impression. HEATSCOPE® infrared radiant heaters are known for their clear design statement with SCHOTT NEXTREMA® glass-ceramic.
